SAG Volunteers


We are always seeking SAG artist volunteers to help our Guild and Gallery operations run smoothly!

Several roles we are currently focused on filling:

Sangres Art Guild and the 3rd Street Gallery operate on volunteer time and effort.

Volunteer opportunities include Board of Directors, Coordinators, Committees, Sales Host, etc. 

3rd Street Gallery Volunteer Sales Staff (Host) Requirements

  • Sangres Art Guild Membership.
  • Schedule to work 2 days per month during the gallery season.
  • Receive sales  training with the volunteer coordinator or the gallery manger
  • Handle a volunteer assignment in addition to being a sales staff member.

Scheduling the Sales Staff Volunteers

  • The gallery sales assignments are scheduled for the entire season, May through Dec.
  • Priority is offered by seniority to hosts who continue from the previous season.
  • Preference is given to volunteers who will work at least  2 days per month;
  • As staffing needs occur, a SAG member on the waiting list will be offered a sales position.
  • Contact Liz VanSomeren lvansomeren@sagboard.org to be placed on the Sales Staff Waiting List.

2nd Floor Display Space

  • Each sales volunteer receives free display space on the 2nd Floor.
  • All SAG members are eligible to rent display space if available.
  • SAG members who rent display space must volunteer for  one or more SAG committees,  jobs or activities.
  • Contact the gallery manager for more information about procuring display space on the 2nd floor.
