Indeed, the Sangres Art Guild will be shutting down at the end of 2024 unless we fill several specific volunteer roles.
It is important to us to continue to bring art education and inspiration to our community. We cannot do this without the generous donation of time and expertise by our volunteers. Please take a look at these roles and email board@sagboard.org.

The Sangres Art Guild in Custer County, Colorado, promotes the arts in the Wet Mountain Valley to create a dynamic, supportive environment for the visual arts to flourish. We operate the 3rd Street Gallery in Westcliffe to provide support for our members’ artistic endeavors and foster commerce in our community through the visual arts.

'Haunting Images' Show Opening & Reception
'Haunting Images' will be open for viewing this Thursday, October 3rd!
The opening reception is Saturday, October 5th from 4pm-6pm with Wine and Hors d' oeuvres as well as live music! Please join us for a time with fellow artists and admirers, vote on People's Choice Awards, and enjoy the artwork for this timely, fall themed show!
In this OPEN THEME show all art themes, skill levels, styles and mediums are accepted. Award-winning Colorado artist, Sarah Woods, will judge all entries without regard to the theme implied by this show’s title.
'Haunting Images' runs from October 3 - October 26th.
Live music at the 'Haunting Images' reception!
Joan Grauman Morse and her husband Bill Morse are classical accordionists who will play two 45 minute sets between 4 and 6pm that day. Their repertoire includes light Classical, Disney songs and international music. Joan sent me a publicity photo they have if you would like to use it in any promotional material. Bill is also the conductor of the Jefferson Symphony.
